Thank you for the reply Dave! I fully appreciate from all I've heard, that narrowing the first one down is difficult from what I've provided for information.
I've been looking at a lot of pictures and information on your suggestion for the second. The images and descriptions don't seem quite right (in my very uninformed opinion)? From descriptions I had read, they don't usually appear as white in color? Again, I appreciate that I've given very limited information. Someone suggested some type of oyster mushroom, but nothing I researched there seemed to fit either...
Unfortunately, I have 3+ more enquiries with no more information than the first two. I foolishly like to believe that because these seem to have some fairly distinctive features, that a identification might be possible? These were all seen on British Columbia's southern coast - at around 1000 feet elevation. My only guess on any of them is Amanita gemmata for #4. Thanks again Dave.
