  1. Thanks! Phaeolus Schweitzii is probably the one, velvety top.
  2. This is an interesting one. I cant find it in my book.... or one that looks similar enough. It was fuzzy and very flexible at the edges.
  3. This days find. Im almost 100% these are zellers. They are 100% edible??? If so should I try and cook one in oil first?
  4. Awesome thanks! that makes sense about the moisture.
  5. BC. what does margin incurved mean? Because this was fully concave like a cereal bowl. I have been looking at photos of them on Google images and most of them are flat on top or convex.
  6. Thanks alot Morchella! Thats a great tool. I could not identify it though. Looking in my mushroom book, It looks alot like a zellers bolete but the cap is very uniformly concave... it was a texture like tarmac on top.
  7. This is a strange looking one.. The cap is concave like a bowl. Matte black in the cap.
  8. Hi there, Im new to the forum and hope to gain some clarity as to what type of mushrooms these are I dont have a spore print but a couple photos next time im out ill look for these guys to do a proper analysis.
