If anyone has an idea of what species of mushroom this is - help would be appreciated. I saw this quickly in passing and didn't have time to look at it more closely, and most likely will not be able to go back and see it again. The caps were about 3-4 in diameter, about 3-4 inches of the ground in a wooded area. Please note that I have no experience at all with mushroom types, names, etc. etc. Thanks for help.
