elizharg
This year's North American Mycological Association foray will be Sept. 8-11 in Front Royal, VA. It's a fantastic opportunity to go foraging with -- and hear presentations from -- expert mycologists in the lovely setting of the Shenandoah Mountains. Registration closes on August 1! Dave W
I'll be there for NAMA in Front Royal. Beautiful area. The 4H facility is right on the Appalachian Trail.
The Vault Dweller
Well being in Northeast Pennsylvania it's a long enough distance to call it a trip, but short enough to only need to drive (not fly). I'll determine the costs and consider going. Regardless THANKS FOR TELLING ME. *EDIT* Fortunately I already have plenty of money saved for the next month to take a trip unfortunately I already used some of it to reserve an event I'm attending with friends (a fun short vacation) which we've planned for months. If that weren't the case I would have went to this. Also I still haven't become a member of NAMA anyway (which is needed to register for the gathering) though I've always planned to both to support them and have access to their materials, but I wanted to wait until I've earned more experience myself in a years.
