A "2015 mushroom photos" topic was posted here awhile back.

I got as far as through the letter "C" for genus names of things I photographed last year. Gonna see how far through the alphabet I can get before Spring arrives, and I'm back outside more than inside.

Dacrymyces chrysospermus, False Witch's Butter. Looks a lot like the yellow Tremella species, true Witch's Butter. Dacrymyces grows on coniferous wood and Tremella on hardwood.

Daedalopsis confragosa, a type of "Maze Polypore". Note the reddish-brown bruise on the pores.

Deconica coprophila, a dung-loving mushroom.

Daldinia childiae, or possibly some other species of Daldina. Called "Carbon Balls". Note the concentric arrangement of arcs in the cross-section.
