ChefsWild
The Sullius had definite veil remnants and was in short grass. The pale yellow pored mushroom went quickly slimy on the cap when bruised and had no veil, but did appear to have dots on the stalk. That one was growing both on short grass and in a shaded wood next to it.
eat-bolete
I think they are both Suillus. Leccinums have scabers on stalk, not dots.
dualsetters
Yeah, look like Sullius luteus to me and you said slimy with veil remnants.
ChefsWild
The first one on the left, brown/grey top, all had slimy veil remnants. The yellow ones on the right with the dots on the stalk whose caps bruised oddly and went a bit slimy on top had no veil remnants. All of those stalks were clean and dry. Dave W
The light colored one may be Suillus placidus. http://www.mushroomexpert.com/suillus_placidus.html Check the species S. subalutaceus and S. intermedius for the ones with partial veil.
