First I would like to thank the admin. for allowing me to join your forum here .

I am a newbie to the forum, and only about 5 years experience hunting for, and learning about the wonderful world of wild mushrooms .

I am here to learn as much as I can, and hopefully from time to time, I can offer some constructive info myself .

I live in Rappahannock Co. Va., near the Shenandoah Natl. Park, where we find many different varieties .

Edible fungi I have found here are morel, oyster, chanterelles, and hens .. But have probably tripped over many other treats I wasn't willing to put in my pan for lack of knowledge . Lol !

I originally hail from Georgia, am an UGA alum, and a huge Dawgs fan .

Anyway, sorry for the long winded intro. , look forward to learning from you !
